The Italian website Moto.it has done a long interview with Romano Albesiano in its magazine edition. The Aprilia Racing Manager has clearly stated that the Italian marque will keep its involvement in WSBK despite the plans to return in MotoGP in 2016, while for the upcoming season the goal is to take the title back from Kawasaki:

"Yes, the title is our only target for the season. We race to win, we know it won't be easy as Sykes is a really strong rider, as much as most of our rivals. The level of the competition is extremely high, but both team and racing department are fully focused on the bike. Melandri and Guintoli have what it takes to aim at the ultimate prize, we will do our very best and I think the title is in our reach."
